Temples and Cult Places at the from the Second Iron Age in Europe

În perioada 9-12 mai 2019 s-a desfășurat la Alun (jud. Hunedoara), la sediul Fundației Dacica, Colocviul Internațional „Temples and Cult Places from the Second Iron Age in Europe”.

Colocviul a fost organizat de International Union for Prehistoric and Protohistoric Sciences (UISPP) – Comission: Prehistoric and Protohistoric Mortuary Practices, în parteneriat cu Centrul de Studii al Fundației Dacica și a fost finanțat de Fundația Dacica.

Au participat specialiști din numeroase țări, cu comunicări deosebit de interesante. Lucrările colocviului vor fi publicate în volum până la sfârșitul acestui an, cu sprijinul Fundației Dacica.

Oaspeții s-au bucurat de ospitalitatea Pensiunii Dacica și au descoperit cetățile dacice Piatra Roșie, Costești-Cetățuie și Sarmizegetusa Regia.

Le mulțumim tuturor celor care au făcut efortul de a veni aici, unii de la mari distanțe. Îi mulțumim primarului Comunei Boșorod, dl Tiberiu Cacuci, pentru prezența la deschiderea colocviului.

Președintele comitetului de organizare al colocviului a fost dl prof.dr. Valeriu Sîrbu, căruia i se datorează succesul incontestabil al acestui eveniment.
